Mid-Level Patent Administrator

Quine Intellectual Property Law Group is seeking an experienced Patent Prosecution Administrator to join our collegiate group located in sunny Alameda. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience as a patent administrator and a strong working knowledge of both US and foreign patent prosecution, private PAIR, and electronic filing procedures. Experience with IP Master docketing program is a plus.

Job duties will include, but are not limited to, the preparation of transmittal paperwork and accompanying documents related to both US and PCT/foreign patent application filings and prosecution, communications with foreign patent departments, and attorney correspondence. Additional administrative tasks may also be required. Excellent verbal/written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work in an organized, efficient manner on a variety of projects. Must be self-motivated, able to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks, have a strong attention to detail, and the fortitude to stay on top of numerous docket deadlines.

Bachelor's degree and strong academic record desired; strong PC skills and knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat is essential. A valid drivers license (and vehicle) is also necessary for the position, which includes participation in a weekly .mail run. rotation.
